Late nights and early mornings.

This week so far has been really fun.

It's like I'm at a summer camp. It doesn't really feel like I'm actually working here yet. We've been doing lots of fun things like sleeping, eating, taking naps, eating again, running around in the dark playing sardines, sleeping, having midnight snacks of cereal from the kitchen. Things like that. Yesterday we all found out what specific camps we were working at. Horn Creek has four little camps inside of the main camp. I'm going to be working at the Lodge. It's one of the two family camps here. I'm excited because it won't be as long of a walk as one of the others. I'll have to be at work by at least 7 every morning. :-/ I think that I will be able to get used to it though. Today we played dodgeball with our cabins. Sadly, the Lodge team was full of the 'artistics' who weren't terribly athletic. Tonight we are playing some Ultimate.....I'm predicting it will end up the same way. Oh well though.

Well, off to a camp meeting.

This Summer

Hey Everyone :)

I thought that I would get a blog to keep people who wanted to keep in touch with me this summer an opportunity to do so. Since I don't wanna tell the same story over and over and over, I thought this would be a nice gathering place for all my adventures up at Horn Creek. For those of you who don't know, I got a job at Horn Creek camp in Westcliff this summer. I think it's a good thing they didn't hire me according to my skill level in the kitchen. I hope they have some pepto handy :-/.

So yea, uhm I am currently in the process of packing and such for the aforementioned camp. It's kinda hard to figure out what I really need to bring. Why can't I bring my giant stuffed giraffe? Or my lava lamp?

Well, gotta get back to packin!
